I think we should bring up uniforms. Wearing something more appropriate for the winter. Long sleeve compression shirts isnt cutting it i get sooooo cold. Maybe kelly green or black sweatshirts wouldnt be a stretch? w cabell or marshall health logo?
I think doing homework at the front desk needs to be discussed.
We have too many people acting as supervisor so that would be a topic of discussion.
A guest services handbook would be very helpful for new employees and a specific person assigned to training new employees at each work location. This would help prevent being told so many different ways to handle tasks.
Discussing the generalized emails being sent when they pertain only to a certain employee. Perhaps issues being handled on a one on one basis rather than the whole group would be more effective.
Employee call ins being directed to a supervisor may help prevent excessive call ins.
Big on the employee handbook ^^ or maybe some sort of quizzes that new employees can take to test their knowledge as they go. I think training is a big issue that needs to be addressed- as well as solidifying the rules/procedures we already have in place to be set in stone somewhere
Is there any point in discussing any of this? I don’t see any changes being made regardless of suggestions. Sad but true.
