What Hush AI does for polls

Drafts the poll from a one-liner

Type your topic, get a complete poll (question + options) you can edit. Faster than writing one from scratch.

Suggests strong options

Hush AI proposes balanced, mutually-exclusive options that prevent leading-question bias.

Summarises free-text comments

When voters add comments alongside their vote, Hush AI groups them into themes you can read at a glance.

Suggests follow-up polls

After your poll closes, Hush AI proposes follow-ups based on the result distribution and any comments left.

Hush AI never sees who voted. It operates on aggregated counts and comment text only.

Why anonymous polls beat named polls

If people know who's watching, they vote for what looks safe. Anonymous polls give you what people actually think. Use a PIN to keep voting to your team, class, or members without tracking how each person voted.

How it works

  1. 1

Ask Hush AI to draft your poll

Type the topic; get a question and balanced options. Edit anything. Set up to 10 options, an optional comment field, and an expiry timer.

  2. 2

    Configure access (optional PIN)

Public link, embed iframe, or PIN-protected. PINs are 4-8 digits and can be rotated mid-poll. You can also set a vote cap and per-IP rate limit.

  3. 3

Watch live results, then ask Hush AI for the gist

Bar/pie charts update in real time. When the poll closes, Hush AI summarises any free-text comments and proposes follow-up polls.

Frequently asked questions

How does Hush AI help with polls?
Hush AI does three things for polls: it drafts a complete poll (question + options) from a one-line prompt, it suggests follow-up poll ideas based on results, and it summarises any free-text comments respondents leave. You always edit before publishing. Hush AI never sees who voted; it operates only on aggregated counts and comment text.
Are votes truly anonymous?
Yes. Hushwork does not store voter your IP, email, or anything else that identifies you alongside votes. The poll creator sees only the aggregated tallies. The IP is used briefly for rate limiting to prevent ballot stuffing, and is never linked back to the vote in storage.
What is PIN protection and when should I use it?
PIN protection lets you restrict voting to people who know a 4 to 8 digit code you set. It's useful for class polls (only enrolled students), team polls (only your colleagues), members-only audience polls, and pre-event sentiment checks at conferences. Anonymity is preserved; the PIN gates entry but the vote itself remains untraceable.
Are anonymous polls free?
Yes. Polls are free, including unlimited polls, unlimited votes, real-time analytics, embed code, and core Hush AI suggestions. Sign in with Google to create polls. No credit card, no phone number. Voters do not need a Hushwork account.
Can I embed an anonymous poll on my website?
Yes. Every poll generates iframe embed code and a popup script that drops into any HTML page. The embedded poll is fully anonymous, with no tracking pixels and no voter identifiers transmitted to your hosting site. PIN-protected polls show a PIN entry prompt before voting.
How do I prevent the same person from voting multiple times?
Hushwork applies per-IP rate limiting (the IP is never stored alongside the vote, only counted briefly for rate limiting), bot challenges on the vote endpoint, and optional PIN protection that gates entry. You can also set per-poll vote caps and an expiry timer. The combination prevents practical ballot stuffing without breaking voter anonymity.
Can I see results in real time?
Yes. The poll dashboard streams votes live as they arrive, with auto-generated bar or pie charts. Voters who have submitted see live totals; voters who haven't submitted yet only see options. You can also export the result snapshot as CSV or JSON.
