Is the asker actually anonymous?
Yes. The asker submits the question without logging in. Hushwork does not store the anything that identifies you alongside the question. The IP is used briefly for rate limiting to prevent spam, and is never linked back to the question in storage. You see the question, never the person.
Can I answer privately back to an anonymous asker?
Yes. You can send a private reply that the asker receives in their email or session, without you ever seeing who they are. The asker can read the reply (and choose to follow up) without the relationship becoming non-anonymous. You also have a public-answer option that publishes the Q&A to your AnswerLink page for your audience to read.
