What Hush AI does in chat

Suggests quick-reply drafts

Tap a Hush AI suggestion to send a thoughtful one-line reply in busy moments. Always optional, always editable.

Summarises long group chats

Coming back to a 200-message group thread? Hush AI gives you the gist before you scroll.

Translates inline

Cross-language conversations get inline translation suggestions, so language barriers don't kill momentum.

Per-chat AI toggle

Hush AI is opt-in per chat. Turn it off in any conversation for fully manual messaging.

Hush AI processes message text in-context. No logs of your conversations are kept for training.

Why identity-safe messaging matters

Most chat apps need your phone number, which means giving up your real identity to anyone you message. Hushwork lets you chat as a handle, so you can connect with mentors, peers, or support groups without sharing contact info.

How it works

  1. 1

Sign in and pick your handle

Google sign-in, no phone number. Choose a display handle. That's the only identity other users will see.

  2. 2

    Start a 1:1 or create a group

Search by handle, send the first message, or create a group with a name and an optional join link. Real-time delivery for everyone.

  3. 3

    Reply with Hush AI's help

Tap a Hush AI quick-reply suggestion, edit it, or write your own. Per-chat AI toggle if you want zero AI involvement.

Frequently asked questions

How is Hushwork messaging different from WhatsApp, Signal, or Telegram?
WhatsApp and Signal tie your account to a phone number. Telegram ties to a phone number too, even if usernames are public. Hushwork private messaging ties to a Google sign-in only, with no phone-number requirement, and your visible identity in any chat is whatever handle you choose. You can have a 1:1 conversation with someone without exchanging phone numbers, real names, or contact info, ever.
How does Hush AI help in private messages?
Hush AI offers optional quick-reply drafts based on the recent conversation context, so you can send a thoughtful reply in one tap when you're busy. You can ignore the suggestions, edit them, or turn Hush AI off per chat. Hush AI processes message text only, in-context, with no logs of your conversations stored for training.
Is private messaging free?
Yes. 1:1 and group chats, file sharing within reasonable limits, real-time delivery, and core Hush AI quick replies are free. Sign in with Google. No phone number, no credit card. Premium tiers may exist for advanced Hush AI quotas and team features.
Are my messages encrypted?
Messages are encrypted in transit and. The platform uses industry-standard encryption. End-to-end encryption (where the platform itself can't read messages) is on the roadmap; check the changelog for current status. For now, treat Hushwork messaging as identity-safe rather than fully end-to-end encrypted.
Can I have a group chat without revealing who I am to other members?
Yes. Each group member appears under whatever handle they chose; nobody (including the group creator) sees real names or contact info. You can join, participate, and leave without leaving a contact-list trace. This makes Hushwork groups useful for support communities, peer-feedback circles, and any context where you want sustained conversation without persistent personal identity.
What happens to my message history if I delete my account?
Your sent messages are removed from your sent-folder and your view. Existing copies in other participants' chat windows remain visible to them (this is true of all messaging platforms; you cannot retroactively delete what others have already received). Future messages from your handle stop, and your handle becomes unclaimable.
